PREP IS CRUCIAL!
Prepping your concrete is the most crucial step in coating your concrete. Without the proper prep, you highly risk the chance of your coating failing and peeling off. This is why we meticulously diamond grind all our floors to open the pores of the concrete for our epoxy to penetrate and adhere correctly. Even if your floor is free of any grime or stains, grinding the floor is crucial.
EPOXY OR POLY COAT + FLAKES
This is when our high-solid epoxy or pigmented polyaspartic is applied as a base coat. We then broadcast our vinyl flakes onto the base coat until full coverage. Our vinyl flakes come in a variety of colors and sizes ranging from 1/8″ up to 1″.
SCRAPE + SLAB SEAL
GETTING THAT SMOOTH FINISH
We then go ahead and scrape off any excess/loose flakes in order to get a smooth surface. Once were done, we vacuum all the flakes and apply polyaspartic top coat. Our polyaspartic top coat is designed to give your floor a fantastic finish. It smooths out the texture of the chips, making them look even better and improves the overall performance of your floors
